[Konoe doesn't often kiss where anyone can see. But it's late, it's dark, he's been without long enough that he has no strength to care. This is a pace he can enjoy, letting him forget how tired he really is... if only a little. It's nice, making his heart race again after a slow week, and as Alphonse leans further, his hold changes, too. His hands slide, one up Alphonse's back, the other down to the small of it. Anything to say he's glad to be here again, in his own way....]

[He's used to receiving physically reassuring gestures than words and if he had to pick they were the best things in times like these. The warmth shared by the meeting of lips or a tight hug paled in comparison to the comfort that words could bring. It's why as the next kiss comes to an end he sighs wistfully, eyes closing as foreheads bump gently and noses are nuzzled.]

[He wonders for a moment if it should scare him a little over just how much he means that.]

[Words are a comfort for Konoe to hear, too, but often a challenge to dole. Hearing Alphonse admit anything of this sort makes his heart leap, but this time he has to worry his lip, too, unwilling to lift his head up until he can say something right in return.

Because sure, his thoughts float the Elric's way pretty often, but the wait for him to see him again is hardly feels comparable to what Al's been put through. He knows it.

He lifts his eyes after a moment of thought, and does what comes to mind first, cupping his face in his hands to guide his gaze match his own.]

[His head shakes slowly to draw cool noses together once more, while his words remain vague the need for their closeness to last can be felt in the way his fingers twist a little bit more tightly against fabric and hair.]

[It all helps him pick up on how much Al needs this, and he sighs, moving to lift his back from against the wall.]

[He nuzzles him again in return, still uplifted by Alphonse's admittance before, and mouths "come on" before pulling back and taking him by the hand. He couldn't refuse to invite him by if he tried, and it's nice to know the feeling is entirely his own.]

[He comes all too easily, device that's been in his hand is slipped out of site. It's not uncommon for the house to be quiet these days, he'll message Rapunzel in the morning and knows she'll understand if he's a bit late. The distant thoughts show in his steps, slow at first, but then matching in pace as his plan solidifies. It's hard not to smile when he feels a squeeze of fingers, one he returns with a shy smile as he walks alongside. He won't lead the way, but he'll be there to gingerly nudge the Ribika left or right as needed, something he does once or twice too many. After all, the warmth and the lack of distance between them is far too ignore.]
