[It is another idyllic day in Zodion, days - months - years go by and the majority of days are peacefully spent enjoying the fruits of their labors. Too much time has passed for him to consider what once was, sure there are memories he thinks fondly back on from time to time, but Alphonse has long since made it clear that here is where he would rather be.

On a hill adjacent to the great city's temple of Meridian the sun warms the soft grass that stretches down and in to the valley and like many of the other residents Alphonse has found a higher vantage point to enjoy the day's excitement. Festivals or gatherings still happen on the whims of the gods and this one merely gave all citizens a chance to head outside to see the sky light up with something of a mix between fireworks but perfectly visible in the bright blue sky.

A soft blanket from home, a full picnic basket of snacks and drinks were brought from home and set up on their hill. Once, they had their fill of feeding one another from the collection of items both savory and sweet Alphonse was happy to drag the Ribika down against the ground. There were always kisses these days, soft and full presses of lips that accompanied fingers that always remembered to start rubbing encouragingly along the base of Konoe's ears to help him relax before they settled down together a tangle of limbs to watch the color explosion of lights and sounds.]
